The AHRC recently launched its report on the Cultural Value project. The report entitled “Understanding the value of arts and culture” summarises the outcomes of the 70 projects the research council funded under the cultural value project. It explores how we think about the value of arts and culture with respect to both individuals and society. The report features work I did experimenting with methods to explore the environmental encounters that art can bring about. The results from this project are discussed in more detail in a piece for The Conversation and in a paper for a special issue of the Annals of the Association of American Geographers on Socio-Ecological Futures.
